Can I pull the data for the Estimate instead of typing them again?

Yes, any specific work detail and its price can be copied to estimates from another document. In the frame for work details click to an open book icon and the menu of previous descriptions will open for you. You can select appropriate description and it is automatically copied to your estimate.
